The Rise of Climate Ratings: Is the AAA rating threatened by the new 1.5°C reality?

With the latest climate projections, pressure on Pillar P1 (Planet) continues to increase. Our analysis reveals that several AA-rated companies must revise their Scope 3 (indirect emissions) reduction targets to maintain their ranking.

European agri-food sector obtains a BB average: Strong risk on resources (P2)

Following the publication of ratings for 120 major agri-food companies, the sector shows an average score of BB (Under Watch). This result is explained by the high vulnerability of Pillar P2 (Production/Resources), primarily due to water consumption and dependence on chemical fertilizers.

Companies wishing to reach the BBB threshold must imperatively invest in packaging circularity and adopt more resilient agricultural practices, or risk seeing their rating slide into the speculative zone.
